Our Highway to Work Youth Employment Program (PYEP) is a partnership between La Familia and the Alameda County Probation Department to serve youth and young adults ages 14 to 21 that are At-Promise (formerly known as At-Risk) or on Probation.
This program is designed to help participants gain work and life skills through engaging workshops (virtual and in-person), paid internships, and supportive case management services. The goal of the program is to help guide participants through a series of successful job trainings, subsidized work experiences, and to help them compete in today’s ever-changing and competitive workforce.
Our service area includes: Hayward, Tri-Cities: Union City, Fremont, Newark, and The Tri-Valley: Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and unincorporated parts of Sunol County.
